Post 8. English language challenges

Imagen
Heeeello! Finally, the last post. I am excited for this. I have always loved learning English, I thought it was very important for life. Because I like it, I did well in school and I even attended an exclusive English workshop where the teacher chooses you. It was funny.  And the classes on this course were funny too! I really liked the way Professor René taught us. It may sound ridiculous, but I laughed at several dad jokes. It was my favorite part. I appreciate how enthusiastic he was (well, Professor if you are reading this, thank you), despite the fact the class schedule was horrible.  Personally, I think I need to improve my listening and talking to others. I'm very shy when I have to talk in English. How do I plan to do this? Well, as for the listening part, some time ago I started to watch videos on youtube without subtitles and I watch series with English subtitles. On the other hand, I can practice speaking with others in front of the bathroom mirror hahaha.  Rea...

Post 7. Changes to my study programme

Imagen
Hello again! In this post I am going to talk about my study programme. In the first place, I have to say that I would not change any of the subjects from the study programme to the present. Perhaps, my opinion will change later on. I believe that there will always be boring topics, but I think, and I really hope, that they will contribute to my becoming a complete professional in the future. Secondly, the workload and length of studies I think it's okay. Probably I would like to have English earlier hahaha. But this is a pandemic view. Literally, I woke up five minutes before class. Thus, the coming years of study are likely to be difficult.  On the other hand, I think the faculty is very good. When I entered the university, the only thing I wanted in the faculty was greenery (grass and trees) and microwaves to heat up food. Priorities. So I'm very happy with what we have. About technology, I don't know what to say because I haven't explored it yet. I hope it's grea...

Post 6. Time travel to the future

Hello everyone! In this post the theme is like science fiction, and I want to travel to the future. If I were a time traveler, I would definitely go to Japan. On the 3000, I think? Because that country is so advanced with technology, imagine the possibilities, maybe I could marry an anime character who is now real HAHAHA. I'm sorry, that sounds so geeky.  I want to know things. I would like to go to places where interesting things are likely to have happened. Like, go to space and everything is like Star Wars. Or go to Russia and see if the URSS revived (I don't know what I am thinking, I'm sorry). Or go to Great Britain if One Direction finally got back together. Actually I think that whenever I go it would be interesting. Or probably climate change did wipe out humanity and nothing exists as we know it. Well, the last one is the most likely to happen, unfortunately. That would be awesome, but I think I would go back to my home. I can't leave my cats alone. And my mom,...

Post 5. My future job

Imagen
Hello everyone! Today I will talk about what I want to be in the future, as a pharmaceutical chemist. Pharmacists are healthcare professionals. In addition to dispensing medication, pharmacists also conduct research that can lead to medical advancements, create protocols, and even deal with compliance issues related to medication. These diverse settings give pharmacists the opportunity to help people live healthier lives in a variety of ways. That's because pharmacy has an amazing work field, and choosing a job it's more difficult than people think, hahaha. When I applied to university, I always had in my mind work in a crime lab. Fortunately, the labs I have had have been very good. And, if I can't be in a crime lab (who knows) I really like hospital pharmacy too. I see myself in it because it has a real approach with patients. Pharmacists can help to ensure that patients properly take their medications as prescribed and avoid any harmful effects. I imagine myself at ease ...

Post 4. Pokémon

Imagen
Hi everyone! Today, in my fourth "free theme" post, I will talk about my childish hobby, which is playing Pokémon. Well, maybe it all started when I saw my brother (who is five years older than me) playing Pokémon in an emulator on the computer. I was five years old, I think, and at that age, I wanted to do everything that my brother did, so, yeah, without knowing anything but all my desire to learn, I started to play. And I loved it. That explains why, being twenty years old, I am still playing. I always have problems with social relationships (like, I don't know how to socialize), and when I changed schools, it got a little bit worse. But I am grateful (really I am) that when I was eleven, I heard a conversation where my schoolmates were talking about Pokémon. And I just snuck in. I remember that they were so surprised that I knew about Pokémon, and they treated me so well (all boys) and we began to be friends. To this day, we keep in touch and sometimes we play a new P...
